I have a 10 kVA Rite Deltec system and i want to power it by way of solar power can this work

Hi, interesting question....
If you have access to a large enough solar system, then as long as there is sufficient power from the inverter, it will work as the UPS will consider it is being powered by a mains source.

The amount of power you will need from the SS will directly depend on how much load you have on your UPS.
Remember that you will need enough power from the SS to drive the
1) UPS electronics
2) UPS battery charger
3) Load items

Hope this helps, thanks for using FixYa

We have an old sears garage door opener with one remote. it's model 139536006. There is no "Learning Button" on the motor, only a series of 9 code or dip switches that have to be set in one of...

You don't need the original switch positions. Make sure the row of switches in the motor unit are set exactly the way the remote is. The switches are normally marked + 0 -. Move all of them to the plus sign and try.

Have Craftsman model 139.53754 keyless entry pad. It also references 139.18195 -- both model numbers on back of keypad. Worked great for 3 years now it just flashes for about 15 seconds and nothing else...

There is always the possibility that it has just quit but you can try programming it. Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in your 4 digit code and press enter.

How do I recycle my dead PowerRite Plus 360 UPS? Or can it be recycled?

Most cities have local recycling centers where you can drop off paper, plastic, etc. They usually have something set up for electrical components like VCRs and batteries. The PowerRite Plus was an old Deltec model. Deltec was acquired a few times and is now belongs to Eaton. If you are looking for a new UPS, you can participate in the UPSgrade program which includes recycling your old UPS:

Km900mah short freeze cyles and small cresent cubes, also need the correct dip switch settings as they are not listed for this model thanks

In most cases, when you have the problems you are having, it is because the float switch is not set properly. On most machines, it's located in the front of the machine, just behind the front cover, next to the water pump. It is usually white with a black boot on the bottom. There should be 2 screws holding it. You can loosen the screws and slide the float switch all the way down to the bottom of the slots and then tighten them back. This will lengthen the freeze cycle and the cubes will become larger.
Your Model number is not in any of my manuals and the Hoshi tech site has no such model listed. Please check you model number. Can not get you dip switch settings if we don't know the machine you have. Plus Hoshi has changed their board several times. We would have to determine if yours has been changed, and if so, to which one.
Hope this helps you.

DIP Switches don't seem to matter

You need to completely power off (wall switch or breaker) when changing the dip switches. Not just power off from remote because it will keep previous setting. I learned it the hard way....

Vhs pal video not working

Change the DIP switch to PAL, unplug the unit (no power), then plug it back in. You need to power-cycle the unit to after changing DIP switch settings.

Also make sure that your capture application is set to PAL mode, if there is a NTSC/PAL setting.
