Question about DeLonghi DC89TTC Coffee Maker
I had a blocked filter that cused an overflow - Since the coffemaker was on a serving tray the overflow coffe pooled around the bottom of the coffee maker (DeLonghi DC89TTC Series Coffeemaker) and got into the bottom of the unit. There were no sparks or breaker thrown. The unit shut off and will not make coffee. It clicks on and clicks off within 1 second.
Is this an easy repair or am I better off just buying a new coffe maker
Your unit is probably wet on inside by bottom heater. Take apart and dry inside of unit. A hair dryer works good for blowing all excess water out and helps dry. If unit is still in warranty go to http://www.delonghi.com Call number they will tell you if unit is still in warranty if so they will replace for shipping costs.
