Question about LG LFC25760ST 25 Cu. Ft. Panorama French Door Refrigerator w/ Glide N' Serve Drawer & Internal LED T...
My LG Refrigerator Mod. # LFC25760ST started beeping, even with doors firmly shut. I did get it to stop once, and the temp returned to normal, but after opening the freezer, the beeping started again and I haven't been able to stop it. For some reason, even with doors shut, the temp seems warmer, as if the fridge is getting it's commands from the beep warning. Please advise.

SOURCE: LG refrigerator not working
Check and clean the condenser. Unplugging the system allows it to cool off. when you plug it back in it will cool until the heat rebuilds if not rejected through the condenser. Make sure the condenser fan comes on when the compressor runs. A faulty fan motor will cause the same type of problem.

The control board relay switch for the light bulb stuck in the on position and needs to be replaced along with the light cover and housing. There is also a replacement light harness that has a high limit switch to shut off the lights if this happens again. LG knows about this problem and if you call LG customer service, they will grant a one time warranty extension to take care of this problem.

I had the same problem and fixed it by replacing the Main PC board mounted on the rear of of the refirgerator, as rstynls pointed out. Part number is 6871JB1423N, available from Sears parts direct for around $100. I see it's also on eBay for about $80.
Naturally you want to replace any melted parts like the lens shround and cover if needed, but I didn't replace the socket assembly or reflector even the socket assembly was slightly discolored. I don't see how a new socket assembly could incorporate a temperature sensor since that would require there being a wire run for it already in place, unless the original units had the wire there but it just wasn't used. Even so, if you have to rely on the temperature sensor to shut off the light, you have a problem to fix anyway, although in theory it may prevent a fire hazard.
