SOURCE: I'm reciving the following message:

Hi,

First thing to do is get the top off which can be easier said than done. The printer has four screws holding the top. After that remove the control panel by undoing the four screws holding it in place. This isn't strictly necessary but it makes life easier. Now move the print head to the left. To do this you have to lower a locking bar that is located at the base of the head. The head can be quite hard to move but it does slide left. Under the print heads you will find two pads of hard foam. These collect the ink when you perform a normal head clean and keep the print head moist. Soak these with water . Pool water on them and let it run through (it goes through to a large pad at the bottom of the machine by the way). Fold some tissue and lay it on the base when the heads pass over. Push the head back and forth over the tissue to clean the actual head. The tissue will come out covered in ink.Now for the tricky part get an old printer cartridge and remove the label on top that says "do not remove". Under the label you will find a couple of holes. Widen them / open them with a drill bit about 3 mm is good. Fill the cartridge with water and put it in the printer. Push the heads back over to the right as far as they will go. This will cause the sponges to come right up against the heads. Leave the set up over night. In the morning test the printer. Run a couple of head cleans with the cleaning cartridge in. Your problem is solved now

Thank you!

Printerhead missing

Make sure you inserted the correct cartridge and you inserted it correct. Also check is all contacts on the cartridge and in the printer are clean and shiny. Did you remove all plastic, of the package, as described?
Just one speck of dust, a almost invisible small piece of peper or plastic can spoil al the fun.

My esp 3 kodak printer now has a printerhead problem after a year of use. When the printer does it's power up check I get a error with the ink cartridges indicator light lit up. When I remove the ink...

Your printer needs a service, in other words the waste ink sponges need to be cleaned and dried. They then need to be replaced and the printer reassembled. Then the Epson counter resetting software needs to be installed.

With this software the printer can be set to zero, it will work perfectly after this bit of attention.
It is a good printer, it's nothing that can't be repaired.

A computer technician will be more than happy to service your printer for you.

All the best!

Will not print---all I get is a blank paper

Try to check the ink of your printer that they have more ink inside. Or els just check the printerhead of that printer its maybe that was a problem for that. If they could not print at all after this solution just change your printerhead it is because that was the problem. If your printer are using the built-in printerheat from the cartridge just replace the cartridge of what color are did not print but if your using separate printerhead of your cartridge just only replace the printerhead only.

Canon smartbase MP360 "put in cartridge" does this means buy a new in this case printerhead. The printer was printing fine before this error message came up and printing stopped. Amazing another clean...

Print heads cans wear out. Put in cartridge sound more like a low ink level. Check ink levels and reseat the ink cartridges. Still no? I'd suggest having the print nozzles checked by a repair center or Canon.

Printerhead is not installed.

What you will need to keep in mind is that the ink cartridge contains liquid ink, once opened, can and will evaporate. First, wash you hands with soap and water to remove excess finger/hand oils. Use a clean, moist, paper towel, make sure you ring out the excess water from the paper towel before you begin. Remove cartridge, gently wipe the towel over the contact's pad, and the nozzel tip. Use a dry towel, and patt dry, reinstall. and run an alignment pattern test.
Note: If you do not see an ink trail on the paper towel, The Ink has dried up, and you will need to but a new cartridge.
Note: do not touch the Cartridge GOLD contacts, with your fingers, finger OIL will clog the jet pours, and cause them to corrode.
