Question about IBM ThinkPad T40 2373 Notebook
Use IBM boot disc that was supplied with your computer. If that doesnt work use the operating system disc that came with it. If you have neither of those and the operating system was installed from the factory on a different sector of your hard drive try to start the computer up 3 times in a row and the computer should say safe boot or even boot from diagnostics etc. If you dont see any of that at all possible hard drive failure occured and you will be looking at gettting a new hard drive $50-$150 depending on size (newegg.com). Do you have the operating disc or not? if you dont then you will need to call IBM to see if they can send you a disc, if thats a no go then you will need to purchase one (newegg.com).
