Yes. Its called a KVM (Keyboard video and Mouse) switch. it will allow you to use a single keyboard, mouse, monitor for multiple computers.

They can be found at most any major electronics store/website and, depending on how many machine you want to connect, can be very cheap or fairly expensive.

Connect dual monitors

According to HP, You can run 2 monitors on this machine. the problem is that one of them has to be a VGA and the other one must be a DisplayPort monitor. The display port connector looks similar to an HDMI port but is not the same. There are adapters that claim to convert DisplayPort to VGA but I've had mixed results trying to use them. I KNOW they don't work on some Lenovo monitors. You can find your specs here:
http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01549447&DocLang=en&docLocale=en_US&jumpid=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0002
the monitors should be connected and then the machine powered up. you should be able to right click on the desktop and go to properties and configure the monitors

No signal from desktop to monitor

Hi thanks for asking, the reason you are not having any signal is because of one of the following: your monitor may not be connected properly, please check all connections for your monitor. If you still have the problem this mean the video card in your computer is bad and you need to buy a new one of the same kind and put it in your computer. There are there are two types of video cards (1) AGP which is use by older computers and fit in a short brown slot on the motherboard and (2) PCIe which is use in new version computers. I advise you open your computer and look for the slot on the motherboard it is separate from the other slots and if its brown this mean you need a video card for AGP slot.

Can a compaq fs7600 connect to a wireless internet or is it too old?

The monitor is just a display device, it how fast your PC is. I can easily surf the web for simple email and browsing the net with P3 1.GHz machine running XP PRO. You will need WIFI card for the PC.

Has a cord that has the same type of connection on both ends

Look on the back of the emachine, there should be a blue connector with 15 holes in it. Thats the VGA connector and thats where the other end of that cable goes.

Researching before buying

You can absolutely handle any screen you want. Just make sure if its an older computer to find a VGA connection on the new monitor and that will work out perfectly fine :).

Emachine

Hi foxy37, so what you mean is that you have no display on your monitor? I can only ask you to check a few basic things & than I'll need you to post the model number for your e-machine so I can suggest other information.
1. First check that the monitor cable is securely connected at both ends (monitor & PC), & that the monitor's power cord is plugged in & is turned on.
2. The last time you recall running the PC did you or anyone else install any software? Was any one inside the PC? Did the PC run correctly? Now I'll need to know what model your e-machine is, so I can go here & check what you may need to do to check the PC.
