Question about D-Link (DI-711) Router
If you mean you plugged the power chord of your modem, into your router, your router's toast. your modem had POE enabled for some reason, your router's toast. if you stuck your ethernet cable (cat-5) into your usb port on accident, your router's toast. if you read your manual and properly did a MASTER reset on your router then there's really no hope. there's not much hope to begin with routers are frale things. but in spirit of fixing the router assumeing it's a family herloom or something, you can bring it to an electronics repair shop they will then estimate the repair cost soldering wil be done if repars are made.......quite costly. unless you know how to solder in witch cae you'll konw what i mean when i sat the board's probably fried.
