Go into your settings and wifi
click on your network and delete your passcode and enter your wep key which is on your wireless router.
look at the label and find the wep key.

if this doesn;t work, delete your wireless association completely and add it again as a new wireless.
your passcode for wireless is not your phone passcode it is strictly to allow entry into the wireless network,

My ipod is disabled and says connect to itunes but it also says itunes could not... so what do i do?

Step 1:
Apple's iPod Touch comes with a screen lock feature that allows you to set a four-digit security code to prevent others from using your iPod. Every time the iPod locks, you must enter this code to unlock the screen and access the user interface. Entering the wrong code too many times, or simply forgetting your security code, can cause you to be completely locked out. When this happens, you can quickly unlock your iPod Touch.

Connect your iPod Touch to the computer you usually sync it with. When you disconnect your iPod, it should now be unlocked. If Step 1 does not work, you have to restore your iPod Touch. Be advised that restoring your iPod Touch returns it to the original factory settings. This means that all your songs and files will be deleted and lost. You can resync your files to your iPod from iTunes once you have finished restoration. Connect your iPod to your computer and open iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes before proceeding. In the left navigation panel in iTunes, select your iPod under the "Devices" section. Click the "Summary" tab and select "Restore." When iTunes prompts you about backing up your data, click "Back Up." In the following window, click "Restore." After the restore process completes, you will see the Apple logo on the screen of your iPod. Leave your iPod connected to your computer until it shows up again on the iTunes navigation panel. Your iPod touch is now unlocked. In iTunes you will be able to setup your iPod. Select the backup you made in the drop-down menu to restore your data files. Click "Continue" to finish the restoration. iTunes: Restoring iOS software

How to Connect my Apple iPod Touch 8 GB to Internet

<p>Apple iPod touch is a touch screen version of its popular iPod device, similar in appearance and function of the iPhone. Like the iPhone, iPod touch is able to access the Internet, although by different means. While the iPhone usually connect to the Internet via a wireless network operator's mobile data, the only way to connect to the Internet in an 8 GB iPod Touch is the device to use built-in wireless adapter. <br /> <p><br /> <p>1. Get references to a wireless network nearby, if you are not home or do not have access to a public network without a password. If you're in a cafe, for example, ask the cashier to use the network password and you should use to connect. <br /> <p><br /> <p>2. Tap your iPod Touch "Settings" icon and "Wi-Fi." If a blue button "off" appears next to the Wi-Fi, tap it on the wireless adapter to connect the device. <br /> <p><br /> <p>3. Scroll through the list of wireless networks will appear, and then tap corresponding to your network. Enter a password - if the network requires - and tap "Connect" to your connection to the Internet iPod touch 8 GB. <br />

Cant get itouch to connect to internet even though bt hub etc all in correctly

If it's connected to your wi-fi connection and it's not working then there's something wrong with the BT hub if it's not connected to the wi-fi then it has to be a problem with that , try unplugging it and leave it for 5 mins and plug it back in and try it then . that usually works for me Hope this helps.

Connecting Ipod touch 8(GB) to Wi-fi

Hi,
I want to tell you that there might be two problems for your concern.

1. Your router is not working properly
2. Your Ipod Touch is not working properly

But it might be possible that both devices working fine just the compatibility issue.

First of all i can suggest you that you can upgrade the firmware for your router.

Then you can reconfigure your wireless setting on your router.

Then tried to put static ip on your ipod touch in the network setting option

IP address: 192.168.0.15
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1

Primary DNS: 192.168.0.1
Secondary DNS: 4.2.2.2

Then tried again to connect wirelessly with your ipod touch make sure you dont required to add mac address for you ipod touch and also you can click on the option called "Wireless Access Point"

Then you can see the option " Turn Access Control On" you can uncheck this option.

Try again i believe that will resolve your concern.

Thanks & Regards
