In the first instance you need to check your power lead. Exchange it for another one that you know works.

Pc will not come on. Runs Hot. Will not click off.

have you tried to remove the battery and disconnect the ac-power?

then reinsert the ac-power (without battery)
and try to boot.

if that doesnt work:
remove battery and ac.
turn computer upside down. under one of the lids there will be 1 or 2 memory modules (ram). take them out
insert ac
try to start the computer (yes, without the ram modules)
leave the computer on (with black screen) a couple of seconds.
remove the ac
insert the ram again.
insert ac
try to boot again.

Light

I don't know Samsung's warranty policy for Australia so I'd email them right away. It could be an input voltage problem. It could be heating up components in your equipment causing it to shut down and reset when it cools off. As the green light is not even coming on may be an indiction of this. So I'm guessing you are currently shortening the life of your equipment. Rich

The screen wont come on

try resetting the player by holding the power button. your player may be "bricked" in which case you may have to get a return from sandisk.

Problem with powerup for my screen

Although you didn't list your operating system, I'm assuming it is Windows and offering a suggestion to clear up the issue based on that OS. Go to settings, and then to control panel. Once in control panel look for "power settings" and click on "custom". This will allow you to turn off all power saving modes by clicking "never" on when the screen is turned off or goes to sleep. If the issue is caused by the power saving mode, this will end the problem.
