One of the best penetrating fluids I have ever used is a 50/50 mix of Charcoal Lighter fluid and Automatic Transmission fluid, this mixture works far better than just about any "Knock-er-loose" commercial products, but keep in mind it is highly flammable and should not be used around sparks or flame (same as most penetrating fluids). I put the mixture in a multi purpose hand sprayer with an adjustable nozzle (for long distance needle spray pattern and then let er soak....Good Luck...

Bad master cylinder? Does the master cylinder have any brake fluid in it? Can you completely remove the bleeder bolt? Do you know how to bleed a master cylinder? I assume the truck has power brakes.

Clutch on 8N ford need help have and 8N ford tractor can not get in gear.park it 9 months ago was working fine when parked push pedel nothing happens

Please check and see if there is a steel brake line from the clutch pedal to the transmission, because I think you might have a "hydraulic" clutch.
This means there is a master cylinder near the clutch pedal and a "slave cylinder" mounted on or near the transmission.
Over time, the slave cylinder can fail, and the tractor will no longer shift for you because the pedal will not release the clutch.
The slave cylinder would need replacement or rebuilt.
God bless your efforts.

Water pump leaks through right side stud on 8n ford tractor

gasket not sealing properly you could try to put silicone on the bolt itself let it dry at least 24 hours then try it. you may need a new gasket make sure you tighten them in sequence usually middle right left top bottom to get a flat tightened match

I want to puul fuse for abs brakes.I broke the rear line and now I can't get any brake peddle.Loosened line where we hooked to brake and let it drain until fluid ran free.still no peddleWhen engine is...

these use by directional braking like the volvos have used for decades.that is the left rear brake works with the right front brake and right rear brake works with the left front brake.this is how the brake lines are connected to work for the braking when you have a brake leak you will have to bleed the opposite brake to get the air out.this maybe your problem also if the abs system has air in it then it will have to be bleed of air.

Peddle jumping is your anti lock brakes activating. Rumbling could be anti lock recycling or your brakes are grinding and need replacing

My mower brakes do not work

The adjuster is on the right side just in front of the rear wheel. its the clutch rod / brake rod . you will see a spring on the shaft with two nuts one used to lock the adjustment. loosen the nuts and turn the nuts so the nuts go towards the back of the tractor. keep checking the peddle for brake .

Belarus 562 tractor brakes grabing

Exactly the same problem with my Belarus 562. On my tractor this problems was on the right side of the tractor, there are 2 off brake hubs at the right side (pedal brake and hand brake). Guess that it will be the same problem if it is on the left side of the tractor.
The problem is the innermost brake hub. This part is fitted with 2 off guide/shear pins. These pins shall fit tight to the tractor body holes and to the hub. The hub is made of cast steel and easily cracks around the guide pins.
This makes some slack between the guide pin and the hub. When you engage the brake ti ts in fact these two guide pins that locks the hub from rotation, any slack in the guide pins will be bad, as the hub will rotate/move. This in turn will allow the brake discs to engage at the perimeter, and not only at the sides as they shall do.
By reversing the tractor a little the brakes loosens as the discs rotate the other way and thereby rotating the hub back to its position.
It is also important that the balls in the expansion plates are in good condition as well as the grooves (seat) for the balls.
