Have you greased your shaft lately? It is necessary to put grease inside the shaft from time to time. Remove the engine of the trimmer, pull the flexshaft or rod (which ever it has) out of the shaft and while slowly reinserting the flexshaft squeeze "oo" grease or any type thick grease into the shaft and on the end of the flexshaft. Reassemble engine and you should be good to go.

Have Breadman TR2200c. The red drive shaft "seal" in the bottom of the bread pan seems intact. The drive shaft stopped turning. I forced it out of the shaft tunnel, and the clip was rotted. 3...

I think you're going to have to take out the seal and put a new retaining ring on the shaft to keep it from falling out the bottom. If you're lucky you'll be able to pull out the old seal without destroying it.
A 5/16" external retaining ring should do the trick. Hardware store or Lowes should have 'em. Depending on how difficult you find it to force the ring down into the well in the pan to put in the shaft's groove, you may need a retaining ring pliers. The cheap ones from Harbor Freight (around $3) work fine.

1993 jeep wrangler runs good till it gets to about 190 degrees. Then it spits and sputters and misses like crazy until temperature gets to 220 degrees. Tail pipe glows red hot. What is going on?

I had a similar issue once. It turned out that the distributor shaft was very slightly bowed. When the engine would warm up the distributor shaft would flex more thus throwing off the timing. I had to replace the distributor.

I have a Red L2 wire and Red wire L2 and Green wire for ground. The new motor is getting real hot...shoud it.

Motor should not get to hot. often hot or warm to the touch is ok especially if in the AZ sun, or if running for a long time, but you should be able to hold your hand on it continuously. If the supply voltage is to low it will cause current to rise and can overheat. Also the wrong, (or a damaged impeller) can cause improper load. an obstruction or blockage in the supply or return line can also cause it to work to hard. Also Does your new motor have the same SF rating (Service Factor) as the old one?

Those are the defrost heaters and glows red hot when defrost action is active. It should turn off when defrosting is complete or when the temperature is about 46 degrees Fahrenheit. If it does not turn off, the freezer will not function properly or it will be warm than normal. Have the defrost sensor assembly checked by a qualified technician.

Hot muffler

You got a couple of geniuses answering your questions. When he says it is getting red hot, he means that it is glowing red. Hot air passing through the muffler from a normal running machine does not make it get red hot, mowerman. And there are more reasons then the 2 you list mrfixit. The likely problem is your jets in the carb. It sounds like it is running to rich. Play with the little screw on the carb a bit. I think you would have to turn it in a bit. Wish you luck.

Seal on front Diff drive shaft

The red coating on the seal is sealer, once it gets hot it softens and keeps fluid from going around the seal barrel, this can really get stuck, a small slide hammer with a screw on the end works well for the really stubborn ones.
