Old ge dehumidifier

posted by birdz on Oct 24, 2007

I have an old dehumidifier, prox. 10 - 15 yrs old, works fine, but the wire filter behind the cooling coils is very dirty . The front have of the filter is fine.
I don't know how to access the filter to clean it.
Front access is the fan and motor, back access are the coiling coils.
I don't have the manuel, Is it doable if I take it apart. ( of course not messing with the electrical)
