    Hi,

No, this I am seeing in mozilla too. And very recently it all started. Regarding dial-up connection, well this seems closer to the problem now, because I can remember that this is occuring since I am using new USB Datacard from last 10 days...Is it related with the speed, becaz its slow????

    Regards

    Shashi

    No, its a wireless datacard?

  • Shashi Bhushan Shukla Jul 02, 2009

    Hi,

You are great, simply great man! This lead was superb, I was using an accelerator which came free with the datacard exactly the same way you mentioned" 5 times faster speed", this accelerator was running and yes I was impressed with the speed, now I understand it was on the cost of blurred images, Thank you once again, it solved my problem, I switched off the accelerator and Bingo! and now the pages are although coming slow, but are having the same resolution as was earlier....you are great!

    Regards

    Shashi

Some dial up connections use accelerator software that gives you what they advertise as "up to 5 times faster". The way they accomplish this is by reducing the quality of the graphics that come downloaded to your computer. If that is the case, there should be a setting in your datacard's software that allows you to choose the amount of degradation to the graphics.

Yes, me tooooo agreed , I was also having the same problem and using an accelarator for speed boosting, but when I switched it off , I got the images back as clean... and not blurred anymore.... I hope most of the time its the speed boosting accelarator is a cause to this problem....

You may have inadvertantly zoomed in on your browser page using the key combination of Ctrl + (plus). If using IE, try going under View->Zoom or type Ctrl - (minus) to return the screen back to 100%.

Cant copy tables from internet to word 2007

Open a web browser such as Windows Internet Explorer by clicking the "Start" button in the lower left-hand corner and double-clicking "Internet Explorer" in the program list.

  • 2 Display the webpage to be copied, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the Internet Explorer screen.
  • 3 Click "Select All" to highlight the entire contents of the webpage, then click the right-hand mouse button and select "Copy" from the drop-down menu. This copies the entire webpage to a temporary memory clipboard.
  • 4 Open a blank Word document by clicking the "Start" button, choosing "All Programs," clicking "Microsoft Office" and double-clicking "Microsoft Word."
  • 5 Click the "Edit" tab at the top of the Word screen and choose "Paste Special."
  • 6 Select which paste option best suits your needs. For example, the "HTML Format" option will paste the copied webpage with all hyperlinks, images and text formatting intact. "Unformatted Text" option will paste only the text from a webpage without any of the original columns, section dividers or other formats.
  • 7 Click "OK" to copy the webpage into the Word template

Hi. I am assuming you are talking about the page that Internet Explorer goes to when you first open it. If that is the case, try this:

    Windows Vista (all versions)

    1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button getopencontent.aspx?assetid=4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml, and then clicking Internet Explorer.
    2. Navigate to the webpage you would like to set as the home page.
    3. Click the arrow to the right of the Home button getopencontent.aspx?assetid=4aa01e82-2732-4ac7-b246-a06c904f2c2c&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml, and then click Add or Change home page.
In the Add or Change Home Page dialog box, do one of the following:
    • To make the current webpage your only home page, click Use this webpage as your only home page.
    • 4. To start a home page tab set or to add the current webpage to your set of home page tabs, click Add this webpage to your home page tabs.
    • To replace your existing home page or home page tab set with the webpages you currently have open, click Use the current tab set as your home page. This option will only be available if you have more than one tab open in Internet Explorer.
    5. Click Yes to save your changes.

    Windows XP (all versions)

    1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Programs or All Programs, and clicking Internet Explorer.
    2. Navigate to the webpage you would like to set as the home page.
    3. On the pull-down menus at the top of the window, click the Tools menu and choose Internet Options (if the Tools is not showing at the top of the page, you can access it using the Tools pull-down menu located on the right side of the window).
    4. To make the current webpage your home page, click the “Use Current” button.
    5. Click OK to save your changes.

    Hope this helps!

    Webdesinging

    1. If the webpage is in Image/PSD format. The open it in Adobe Image ready and use slicing to dive the webpage it into as many pieces as you like.
    2. Is the page in is HTML / xHTML format. then separate it in three parts:
    • header.html: (from <html> tag to <body> tag) in one file and then
    • body.html: from <body> tag to "start of footer (copyright)" and finally
    • footer.html: from start of footer (copyright) to </html> tag
In this way you will have 3 parts one webpage. Now all you need to do is use same header and footer while changing the body.html for the entire website/webapplication
