Question about Dell A940 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Printer started skipping areas of print, then quit printing ANYTHING altogether! It sounds like the printer head is printing the characters, but our comes a blank page! HELP!!!
First, use the menu on the printer or the program for the printer on your pc to clean the print heads. May also have other options to repair such problems. If this does not work, uninstall the driver and go to Dell.com and click on their support page. Follow the instructions on that page (will ask for service tag) and download the newest driver. Install the driver and test the printer. Do not forget to make it the default printer.
If none of these options work, check if your still under warranty and contact dell. Otherwise, you need to send it in for repairs...but most likely, it is more cost effective to buy a new one. Your choice.
