Question about HP Photosmart C5180 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have a HP portable computer that I have hooked up to a wireless router and a printer. I've been able to print out pictures without any problem. I recently went on vacation and took my portable computer with me. When I came back I was unable to print out pictures via the wireless computer. I got a note saying that the RVC service was unavailable. I unhooked the wireless router and the printer and left them off for a minute and then turned them back on to try to reset the connection but that didn't work. How do I solve this problem. Thanks for your help.
HP has a problem solving or troubleshooting software you can use. Also maybe your port settings changed. 168.06.01 is a typical port. Check that. Also use the WPS method to connect.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I have same problem and have just learned that HP LaserJet 1020 is a host-based (i.e. GDI-based) printer that makes use of the processing power of the host it is hooked up locally to. No GDI based printers works with print servers.

We cannot connect the pro l7680 printer wirelessly. Connect the printer to the router via ethernet cable and connect the desktop to the router wirelessly.

Once right click on the printer icon and make it online and then clear the print que and then download and install the patch from the below webpage.
After installing the patch restart the computer and check for the result.

First off, did you try to recycle your printer? Turn it off and back on again. Sometimes power outages can disconnect that printer. If that doesn't work. Go to the printer and access the system network configuration on the led panel. Type in the WEP number and password again, and let it search for the connection. That should do it. Once it's connected you'll see the blue wireless indicator turn on.

You need to get IP address from the printer, and enter it in the router. Or sometimes the software will do it on installation
