I bought a universal remote and as I was trying to program it, it messed up the vertical hold. I can't stop the picture from flipping -- and it's rather fast too -- too fast to read what's on the screen. How do I reset the vertical hold?

- When I play a tape, the vertical hold won't work. The picture flips constantly. Adjusting the tracking makes no difference. I thought maybe it was because the tape was recorded on a different vcr, but it even happens with tapes that were recorded on the same unit- oldtechie
