I have a mishto 220 mig tig mma I can get the arc to work fine but the mig there's no arc at all the machine sounds like its welding but no arc at the gun I'm using gassless wire I thought it may be an...

They told me at welding school the mig transformer has a different slope (whatever that means?) to the tig and mma transformer so I am a little surprised at your question. The implication is two transformer are needed for the three types of welding and for tig and mig a dc converter and also for dc mma welding.

From your description it seems as though welding current is not arriving at the tip of the mig torch or the current is arriving in the wrong form.
You say the mma is fine but you didn't say whether it is fine on ac welding, dc welding or both. I have not tried mig welding with ac and have no idea whether it would be successful but I imagine a lot of sparks and not much welding. The problem could be the rectifier unit is either not working or is switched out of the circuit.

Polarity is important too with dc tig and mig welding.

I hope this provides food for thought.

The settings for welding aluminium using a Tig200P AC/DC inverter

If you are using a remote then you would set the machine in standard for controlling output and also to AC output, HF tig, contactor and control in remote position. I don't know if this helps or not but I pulled it from an owners manual.

Is there a diagram online that can show me where the CP114,120, and 150 are located on my RCA M#D52W20

The are tan and next to the flyback and are marked with location numbers right on the board. On that board if one is open (read like a fuse) the set will no longer display the convergence option--there is a kit with 3 parts available for this.

In case you get that board out this model is prone to bad or broken solder connections at the flyback and around it.

Im welding 16ga sheet metal, with short little beeds. i will lay a 1 inch bead and stop and go to start another one i step on the pedal and there is nothen i have to wait for the machine to cycle....

Is it waiting to finish the post-flow cycle before allowing you to start the arc again? If so I'd return it with all speed because it's going to cost you much in time and gas both.

If you can't return it, are you capable of modifying it? If not, try breaking the arc and just starting the next without letting the pedal up fully.

My Lincoln SA 200 welder will not rev up when I strike an arc.

Need code number to be exact, but sounds like the wiring to the current transformer is incorrect.

Not generating power

The engine is not running the welding transformer. It may be a fuse, drive belt or gear wheel. Or the transformer is shorting out. Check these points in this order if the last one maybe you will have to replace the transformer. The transformer is 2 coils to stop them shorting out where normal electric wire is cover in plastic or rubber the coils are coated with enamel as are sum cooking pans. If this is damaged in any way it will short.
