Question about Car Audio & Video
Hi, noticed your posts - I have exactly the same problem - pro composer using the monitors in a professional capacity.
Korg UK service agents in UK for Samson weren't aware of a product problem but say there's a minimum 3-4 turnaround to diagnose - longer to repair if parts from US are required. A non-starter for me so I've purchased an alternate set of monitors which is a shame because the R5a's are excellent.
Anyhoo, I've batted the problem back to Samson in the US. I'll let you both know if I find anything out which may be of help.
If your subwoofers are buzzing, its a VERY simple solution... your amp doesnt have a good enough ground. if you change your ground and the problem still exists, scosche makes a product for that which connects to your audio wires going into your amp.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
