HP Color LaserJet 4700 Not Booting

I have a color laserjet 4700. It is not completing the boot process.
It runs through the memory check, then just stops.
I have tried removing the EIO card and all of the added memory.
The fan comes on shortly after powering on.
The memory check is the only thing displayed, it gets stuck displaying:

Check if fuser and toner cartridge and image transfer belt are properly installed. Also check if covers are properly closed. One more thing, disconnect printer from main power for a couple of minutes and then turn it back on. Hope this helps. Maybe you can tell me what happened before this started(ex. paper jam).

My HP color LaserJet 2500L printer will only print yellow or black. All the toners are good and the machine has been re-calibrated and cleaned but it will not print full color

Print cartridges might be improperly installed. Remove the print cartridge for the color that is printing inconsistently and reinstall it. im sure you tried this already, but thats from the manual. also check your settings in the computer verify greyscale is not selected. also. Re-calibrate anyway To calibrate the printer from the HP Color LaserJet 2500 Toolbox 1 Open the HP Color LaserJet 2500 Toolbox in one of these ways: • On the desktop, double-click the HP Color LaserJet 2500 Toolbox icon. • On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to HP Color LaserJet 2500, and choose the HP Color LaserJet 2500 Toolbox. 2 On the Troubleshooting tab, click Diagnostic Tools (on the left side of the screen). 3 Click Color Calibration. Then try a test page. if all else fails Try this The NVRAM reset is done by powering off the machine. Press and hold the Go button. Turn the printer on and continue to hold the Go button. After the Go, Ready, and Attention LED's tuirn on, continue holding for at least 20 seconds. During this process, the Attention, Ready and Go LED's will each turn off. Release the Go button. The device LEDs will begin cycling from front to back. The NVRAM init process runs unitl the printer is in the Ready state.

Hp color laserjet 4700

Evening eavotri, -The first thing to do is pull out the EIO card and all of the added memory. -Restart the printer and listen for the fan to come on and see if there are any changes in the boot process. If it boots then starting with the memory reinsert one of the modules and reboot. Repeat the process till you find the culprit. You may find that after reinserting everything its still working. You may have lucked out and just had an EIO card or memory module that had a bad contact or you may have an intermittent fault that will reappear again. If nothing has changed can you give me more details about what you observed or heard during the boot process: - Does the fan come on shortly after you power on? - What displays during the boot process besides the memory check? -You mentioned the last thing you saw; does that mean the LED went blank? Let us know what you find out and don?t forget to rate the posting.
