If its green then you are getting power and it might be the RF board or the power button on your 360

Thanks for your question. To fix the 3 red lights what you will need to do is stop the heat getting to the GPU and the CPU and to do this you can use a good Xbox 360 Repair guide or of course you can send it in.

You will need a new power brick. GameStop sells used ones, take your old one with you as there are two different versions of the brick in older systems.

I have 3 red lights on the xbox and the light is green on the power brick and then it cuts of and then the light turns red on the power brick and it wont turn on

This is the famous red lights of death! It happens because the GPU and the CPU have overheated, to fix it you need to stop the heat build up getting to the chips, you can do this yourself or send it in.

I play for +- 30 min and the powersupply goes on red is it the powersupply or the box

If you are getting a red light on the Xbox 360 power brick, That happens when the power supply gets to hot or its not getting enough juice. Try plugging it in somewhere else and see if that helps, and make sure not to use any UPS, surge protectors or power strips to plug in your AC adapter

also check if the power connector is firmly connected or not behind your xbox 360, if you still have a problem, check if you can borrow another Xbox 360 from anyone you know and swap the adapter and console which would help you know where the problem is

If none of this works, call up Microsoft for further help and support, since your problem may require servicing of your console.

If you are getting a Red Ring of light on the Xbox 360 power button, please clarify since it requires separate diagnostics.

Hope you get back to gaming on your Xbox 360 ASAP

Plugged in powerless 360

The power adapter would have gone green when it was working normlly, its what it does, you need to replace the power adapter 'brick' as it is either faulty or was over heated due to travel. Good luck.

Power cuts off

Might be a faulty power supply mate , when you turn the xbox on observe the power indicator on the power brick.
Green means its okay
Amber means the console is in standby
Red means the Brick has had it.

Try a friends power brick to see if it does the same.

XBOX SHUTS OFF.

You could have a faulty power supply. Have you checked to make sure everything is hooked up properly? When you turn your xbox on have a look at the light on the power brick, its usually green when its working fine and orange when the xbox is turned off, if its red there could be a problem with it.

Hope this helps
