Question about Microsoft Msn Messenger (u35-00003-36mon)

6 Answers

8e5e03fe I cannot sign into my msn messenger with a certain account, which is the one I normally use. The error code is: 8e5e03fe As of yet, I have been unable to find any solution, and there is no official word on that error code. I can sign into my hotmail using the 8e5e03fe account, and can sign into msn with other accounts, but I cannot with my normal account. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. It's been like this for several days now and I'm really starting to get fed up. Any help? Cheers, Lewis

I've tried that, both of them. Doesn't work, I still get the error when trying to sign in.

1. Hit "run" in the start menu
2. Type "regedit"
3. Open "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger"
4. Delete the folder called MSN Messenger
5. After this MSN Messenger Live will login as normal.

or...

If you're not comfortable editing the registry, you can run this small reg. file which does the same thing as posted above:
Remove Messenger Settings
