Trying to update to ios7.4 on an iPad 3 on mobile sim

You cannot do an over the air update using a mobile connection, it is required to be connected to a wi-fi network. A lot of coffee shops and restaurants have free wi-fi these days if you have no wi-fi access from home.

Hope that helps!

MY SONNY ERICSSON X8 WHY I CAN'T GET THRU IN WIFI

To connect to a WLAN via Wi-Fi™:
  1. From the Home screen, find and tap Settings.
  2. Tap Wireless controls > Wi-Fi settings.
  3. Mark the Wi-Fi checkbox. Available Wi-Fi™ networks are displayed in a list under Wi-Fi networks. The available networks may be open or secured. This is indicated by the icon next to the network name.
  4. Tap a Wi-Fi™ network to connect to it. If you are trying to connect to a secured Wi-Fi™ network, you are asked to enter the security key for that Wi-Fi™ network before you can connect to it. The Wi-Fi™ connection is displayed in the status bar once you are connected.
Useful tip:
  • The next time you connect to a Wi-Fi™ network, the phone will remember the security key.
  • To enable Wi-Fi™ network notification of open networks, mark the Network notification checkbox.
  • To connect to another Wi-Fi™ network, just tap another Wi-Fi™ network in the Wi-Fi networks list.
  • To scan for Wi-Fi™ networks manually, press the Menu key and tap Scan. The phone scans for Wi-Fi™ networks and displays them in the Wi-Fi networks section.

Hard time connecting to wirless connection says drive is unplugged?

1. First look for the Wi-Fi (Wireless) Switch on the Laptop (it may be on the front or sides of your laptop) [It's symbol will be like a 'Tower' or 'Antenna').

2. Turn it to ON position (a red or blue light will blink).

3. Now, switch ON your Wi-Fi router modem provided by your network operator (also check the connecting wires between router and phone jack).

4. System will automatically detect the network.

5. If not seach your Wi-F- network through :
Start -> Connet To ->Search/Refresh (a list of services will come).

if it helps tell me...tc! :)
