Question about Remote Controls
Hi I hope you can help me.
I have a Philips Matchline TV that is only 6 years old that I live due to its clarity.
When switching TV on screen turns white and after 30 seconds switches off with power red indicator starting to blink. I have cleaned out all the dust, but has not made any difference. I am a Electrician/ Technichian by trade but dont know enough about these problems.
This likely has a 10 ohm resistor on the CRT board that is open. This feeds 200v to the cathodes of the CRT.
