It could be a speaker issue. Try using you phone on speaker phone, or ear buds with with built in MIC or blue tooth headset. If it works with these options then its an issue with the speaker. If it doesnt work even with other options then its a more serious issue
What type of PA speaker are you using? what OHM? and wattage.. A cb pa can only supply MAX 5watts into a pa speaker. It may be too big of speaker or bad speaker? if it works on cb.. wrong OHMS can make problems too..
You have to firstly test your head phones on another computer.... If it works in another computer than firstly update your anti virus program and then re install your drivers.... If it does not solve the problem you can re plug the cable of sound card on mother board... If problem does not solved than your sound card might have problem.
the fault is probably coming from the board and might need replacement so as to enable the mic work properly. you can take it to a repairer to fix or change the board. on the other hand, it could be that the new mic was also faulty. the best thing to do is to take both your phone and the mic to a qualified repairer and see if he helps. hope this helped you? please rate
THIS SOME KRAZY I TOOK MY PHONE TO GET FIXED FROM THE CHARGER PART RIGHT THEY DID A GREAT JOB FIXING THAT BUT NOW FOR SOME STRANGE REASON MY MIC DOESN\'T WORK TO THE PHONE THE ONLY WAY I CAN TALK BACK TO PEOPLE IS IF I PUT IT ON SPEAKER PHONE OR HAVE A HEADSET CONNECTED TO IT SMH
Have you made your webcam mic the default mic ? Vista TEST SPEAKERS Right click on speaker icon in System Tray or from Control Panel Select "Playback Devices" The speaker icon ( checked as working) and volume level graph should be visible Right click on the volume graph and click "Test" Left hand speakers followed by right hand should be heard
SET DEFAULT & TEST MIC Click "Recording" tab. To set required (webcam) mic as default - click on mic font to highlight and click "Properties" In lower dropbox display "Use this device enable" click 'OK' Click "Levels" tab and ramp up sliders ( adjust to suit later) Return to "Recording". Test mic by speaking and make sure volume graph displays

My mic doesnt work properly, so i have to get at a certain angle to use it. I have sorta the same problem, so here's my answer. If you play Mario Kart DS, and are plaing the Balloon battle game, get a fan to blow into it. Works every time!
