SOURCE: How to unlock channel at

The are 2 types of locks:
1. parental ones - in which you can input a code (the default one is 0000) to access it; later you can go in the menu and completely remove the lock.
2. package ones - in which the lock has been put by the cable company and you are allowed to access them only by purchasing a new package; to remove them you must either buy access to that channel or hack your way in. But for that you will need a new cable box, one that allows hack keys to be used - it will cost you around $300; and then you must find the key for your cable supplier and load them in the new box. Beware, this is illegal and the fines, if caught, are huge.

How do I attach an antennna?

On the back of the TV look for the connector marked Ant/cable. This is a silver connection with threads on it. If you have a digital indoor antenna, connect it there. Same goes if you have an outdoor antenna. Now go to the setup screen and select AIR for antenna type. After that do a channel search and select digital and analog channels. Let the TV find all the stations it can. When it's done searching, it will show a picture. You may need to aim the antenna to get a better picture .

Only picking up one digital channel

digital air signals are weak and fussy. They are easily lost by having trees or large buildings in the way too.
The best thing to do is install a long range roof top antenna and re program the set. Be sure to aim the antenna correctly. if you cannot use a roof top antenna you can try the indoor digital antennas, but less likely to work consistently

My Samsung LCD (LA46A850)does not tune Analog

Hi my name is Roety,
I can help you with your issue ,
Even before you run the auto program you should see a picture when entering a channel below 13 when entering the numbers in the remote. If no picture shows check the signal source the center connector may be bent.
Another possibility is selecting ant 1 or 2 make sure you are selecting the correct input the check the picture then run auto program

If I have helped you with your issue
If you have more questions you can still respond
I will reply asap
Thanks

If your vcr has an ant. in and out to tv coax type jacks the signal should pass through when the vcr is off or in tv mode. Make sure tv is on the output channel of the converter box(usually ch 3 or 4). If your vcr is different please give more info.
