My Sandisk 1GB usb drive wont turn on the red ight

Although there are a couple free solutions they generally just show you if the software is recoverable, then ask for money before actually recovering any for you. As well in order to use the software the drive would have to be running, light on and at least showing up in your device manager if not in my computer.
