On the edge of your SD card is a little white sliding switch that 'protects' the card. Slide it down and the card will unlock. If its missing it will read as protected. They get flipped all of the time during insertion into computer card readers! It's a very tiny little switch. If you need any more assistance let me know.

Take your card out and look to see if a tiny piece of plastic has been moved on the top of it. That secures the card, just move it to the opposite side and you should be able to use it again.

WRITE PROTECT ON WONT LET ME REMOVE OR DELETE PICTURES OR EVEN TAKE PICTURES

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Hi! When i turn my camera on 'protected card' comes up on screen and wont go away? I cannot delete any pictures either?

Take the memory card out of your camera and look at it. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

My picture card is saying no picture when i go to take a picture the card says full it wont let me take a picture??

Hi.

Check AE lock custom button:

d373c1c.gif

Ensure that the memory card has no protective seal or object in front of the protection area. See here.

Ensure that the files are not individually protected (Key sign in settings)

If that does not fix the problem, then the card may be defective. In that case replace the card.

Here a manual.

Card protected

Use a separate card reader to download your pics. Then, you can format the card in the camera to get it to work properly.

Fujifilm Card Protection wont turn off.

Hello,
For the newborn's picture the solution is simple: transfer them to your computer either directly from camera, or by making use of a card reader.
By the way Congratulations for the baby.

If card is defective change it and use another one.

Hope it helps.
