From my personal experiences with Keyboard problems I've encountered, I have come to the conclusion that Keyboards don't respond due to something spilled over it causing the liquid to get between contacts AND the other problem is when a key gets jammed. I would go to Keyboard in Control Panel and see if all is well there and or Device Manager if there is no indicator of a sware problem and or setting then Yeah , I would think physical problem as suggested 1st. Try using a soft brushed vacuum to **** out any dirt, dust, crumbs or whatever might be under key(s), as well as seeing if all keys have a normal feel to it (Not stuck or jammed on an angle. cheers, Bastian

Keyboard beeps when any key is pressed eventhough all sticky key and filter key is turned off

get a cheap usb keyboard, plug it in and see if same issue shows

if it does, your keyboard on laptop is shot

if the usb keyboard does same thing, it's a more major issue on motherboard

anything spill on this unit by chance?

you could try this

go to start tab
type into search bar or run bar
device manager
scroll down to find the keyboard
un install it
then restart the laptop

hopefully windows will then reload the keyboard
to its default settings and hopefully all will be good

As I type I notice that the letter are missing

Keyboards like any other device start to fail because the keys when pushed are striking a sensor pad underneath and over time these pads, sensors etc. start to fail. May be time for a new one. Random key problems are not a driver or an operating system problem. Sounds like hardware.

Key board problems

It sounds like your having a system board problem, you will need to take the machine into a repair shop to have it looked at and make sure that it's still plugged into the system board correct.

You can also try hooking up an external keyboard to the laptop in the meantime.
