Water leak thru valve when turn to shower

a lot of shower diverters do this..you may need a bigger seal on the diverter..if you can remove the spout assembly from the tub(with the diverter valve in it) and take it all to the hardware store.. see if they have a different seal/diverter that has a snugger fit but still falls to drain the shower head line out..that will slow that leakage..the spout is on a pipe and unscrews counter clockwise(normally)unless its a single valve unit..with the wide ring around the back..then that calls for a plumber..

Greenstar 30cdi hot water issue

The problem is not the water heater. The shower has a mixer or a limiter built into the plumbing so that the water wont get hot. It is a safety feature to prevent burns and protect children from scalding.

it could be your shower is full of lime scale if it an electric shower if so try turning off the power and take the shower front off remove the heater chamber and block off the out let pipe and pour in a kettle descaler and wait this should remove scale then rince and put back together checking for leaks .

vinegar solution, then rinse in the hottest water you can find...its the same water deposits you find in your shower. If its not bad, we used to put boiling water into a small glass, and then set the other one upside down on it...would allow us to polish for restaurant service.

After shower i turned of the water and a few seconds later boiling water dribbled from the shower head-that is when the thermal overload cut out

If you have a water heater.
The temperature is set too high. The water is expanding in the system and will leak out at valves. Your safety relief valve should discharge before this happens, after you adj. the temp i would check this.
