Frosty bottom of Leibher Freezer (supposed to be no frost)

I have a large Leibherr premium no frost KGNVESS 5066 fridge freezer.  My problem is that the very bottom floor of the freezer keeps getting badly frosted up.  Any ideas?  do I need someone to come in and if so who do I contact?

I am trying to contact Leibherr; I see that production is located in the United Kingdom. I have found an office located in New York. I’m sure this is not helpful and your freezer is very expensive and I will try to get technical information (if they will allow me access). Sounds as if the defrost timer is not working and that would be the first thing I would look at if I could see the wiring diagram. If it is a common defrost it will be a timer that cycles every 8 hours. If it’s a digital defrost with circuit board I won’t be able to locate it until I get a response from Leibherr. The problem could also be in the defrost element. Here is the link that I have found.  Let me know anything or information you have obtain since the beginning of your search that will help me help you get the problem solved, Thank You, Sea Breeze HVAC

Why wont my freezer wont freeze everything else does

Try clearing all vents - inside (make sure vents not covered - in fridge and freezer) and outside (gently vacuum - the coil areas in the back and bottom of fridge)
Air needs to circulate in both parts (dependent on eachother)

Water is dripping from the bottom of the fridge (slow drip). How do I fix it. I have a Maytag French Door stainless steel fridge (4-year-old) with freezer on the bottom.

There should be a drip tray catching the defrost water... it may be overfull... Try to remove it and empty it. The tray is actually supposed to have a heat evaporator to dry up the water before it overflows. Your may be fuller due to excessive frost also... from hot temperatures outside or opening the fridge too often or for too long... good luck!

Large gash in liner of freezer

If the liner is cracked you can place duck tape over the hole(it is available in white)to hide it. Be sure you are not covering any vents for air flow in the freezer.

If this is helpful please leave Feedback. Thanks, SnugglePants

Both Lights flashing and fridge not getting cold

I turned the fridge and freezer off using the circular dials, I then turned the unit off at the mains. Left it for a few minutes and then turned the power back on. I then turned the circular dials to "max" and then depressed the super cool and super freeze buttons to turn this facility on. This time they came on normally (not flashing) and no alarm sounded. The fridge and freezer then started to get cold. Once the unit had been running for several hours I then turned the dials to the 3/4 mark and depressed the super cool and super freeze buttons again to turn them off. Over night the fridge and the freezer appear to be working properly so I hope that my problem is solved. Maybe the unit just needed to "settle" before being switched on?

Sheet of ice forms in bottom of freezer

Frost free fidges are supposed to stay frost free because the automatically defrost regularly. When they do this they may drain water down to the bottom of your fridge. Look for a tray that catches this water underneath the unit. Make sure yo keep it emptied. If you live in a very warm climate you may be getting a lot of humidity inside. There may be a switch that you can change for lower moisture.

BEKO Frost free freezer not as cold as it should be!

Sorry I don't have a solution for you, however would like to know if you found out what was wrong. I have an identical problem with my Beko fridge/freezer. It's only 14 months old and the freezer just wont freeze. I've turn it off for 24 hour and let it defrost completely (even had the panel off to make sure there was no ice left). I've turned it back on again and it still wont freeze. Everything seems ok, ie fan blowing, motor running etc. I really am beginning to regret buying Beko. thanks

My Bosch frostfree fridge freezer keeps icing up!

My Bosch Frost Free Fridge Freezer did the same thing - Ice forming in the bottom of the freezer area after a few days.

It was caused by a blocked drain pipe - When the freezer does the de-frosting cycle, the melted ice drips into a tray and tehn runs into a dish on top of teh compressor, through a pipe.

If this pipe gets blocked, the de frosted ice overflows from the tray and overflows into the bottom of the freezer and then re-freezes !

To fix, pull the freezer away form the wall, locate the pipe that runs to the dish on top of the compressor and blow through it - This should clear it. Alternatively, from inside the freezer compartment, pull off the cover at the back, but the clips holding it on will probably break off, as mine did ! You can sort of push the cover back on and re-fit the food draws.
