Question about APW Hot Dog Steamer/Bun Warmer
I have a start hotdog steamer. When the dogs are done they taste fine but the skin seems to discolor. Any ideas haow to make them look better?
Not really discolor, does it looks like came out of water?
if so, that is because the steamer works. Steamer is cooking the food via water vapor and heat. For the dogs to looks like dog, you need to "dry out" the skin. pan fry, BBQ, grill, or any other metod you can to dry out the skin, then it should start to look like a dog.
