    Hi,

you still did not answer my questions:

1- Can this be installed in place of factory display which only show information regarding car and its air-condition?

2- are there any other chips or adapter I need to have in order to install kenwood?

3- What about BOSE system. will kenwood can successfully connected to this?

    Hi Expert,

I am reposting my question as no proper answer found.

my existing Dash Board is containing following:

1- 7" Display to display rear-camera, Air-condition, temprature and other car information

2-Underneath the display is the Stereo with controll buttons and the Sound is BOSE system.

my question was very clear is it possible to replace this Display with DNX9140 and connect the DNX9140? any more parts needed?

    please to help me.

    thanks

    Hi yourcoins,

thanks for your answer but I need more practical one, Now I am in a case that I bough DNX9140 and also I do not wont to lose my car Information displayed on the 7" factory display, I need to know what exactly should do to let Kenwood shows same information and get use of all DNX9140.

which extra parts I need to get (e.g OEM ....)

please provide me this in clear steps, I am sure there must be a way to get benefit from this kenwood, I also want to keep the Factory Stereo, just replace the blue 7" display with the touch screen comes with kenwood.

    Hi,

yes exactly that what I want, I will keep the factory Radio containing the Brain as you confirmed and just install Kenwood touchscreen in place of factory screen which only shows the rear camera and car info.

but, can you please tell me what adapters I need to let kenwood functioning well as good as factory screen, consediring the BOSE system.

Hello i understand you want to kkep factory radio but use the 7" touchscreen if so yes the screen will show all information if all you replace is the screen and not the whole radio cause the radio has a brain inside it that gives you the info...but replacing the screen with an aftermarket is tricky you will have to get an adapter that will allow you to use the screen basically as a slave you should be able to get one at your local audio store

you may be able to get by just using the av inputs but if it was me i would have them hard wire the screen to the factory radio

No, you can not integrate your factory items such as A/C, Tire Pressure, ETC. You can however have your factory 7" worked on to accept aux. input like Ipod. You're Bose system is dedicated to your factory head unit, you can use the Kenwood with the Bose system with a Periphiral piece designed to intergrate into Bose systems.

You can use an secondary Bluetooth part like Parrot or Motorola that will be hardwired into your factory system and work through your speakers.

I hope this helps you on your road to getting it done.

Sorry I can not be concise on this problem, well situation. I honestly dont know what to say to resolve your question other than it is very technical on switching a touchscreen. Im sure it has to have the same software amongst other things. Hopefully some one else can help you out.

    Good luck in your search!
