Question about HP Pavilion a1110n (PX743AA) PC Desktop
The fan on my HP Pavilion Desktop runs constantly and is loud. How can I stop this?
One reason that a CPU fan may be running constantly is that it may not be able to cool the cpu down. usually this could be due to dust or debri clogging the incoming or outgoing vents or even dust accumulated on the fan itself or the heatsink.

Tips for a great answer:
Mar 09, 2015 | HP Pavilion Computers & Internet
WARNING: Before you start troubleshooting remember that you are dealing with electricity that can KILL.
First clean your computer of dust you could use a fine air blower from a compressor or a can of compressed air whatever you use make absolutely sure there is no moisture in the airlines
if the fan in your computer is constantly running to cool down the cpu and it is normal for it to increase it's speed, your fan should run quietly even it increases the rpm.
But if you hear a loud noise in the fan, i think there's something wrong with it.
I suggest for you to check the fan if it's coming in contact with anything. If the fan is visible while your computer is operating, you can observe it to know what is really happening.
I don't know what type of fan hp uses on their computers, maybe something is loose already on the fan so better check it or bring it to an hp service center.
make sure your CPU has thermal paste
your CPU might be getting hot making you computers fan to run consistently
hope this helps
