Question about HP PhotoSmart C4280 Laser Printer
After replacing the black ink in my HP c4280 printer, I am getting a message "print catridge missing or not detected" I alson noticed the black cartridge is getting caught in somethingpreventing it from moving to the left. Help!! Cartridge is not recoqnised and printer does not function. HP already replaced my C4270 with the C4280, but I have same problem.
I think either the printer's scanner(or film as some call it) and/or the carriage is faulty. The signal cable that connects the carriage to the logic board could also be a suspect. Try replacing these items one after another and the culprit will be isolated. Good luck.
