Question about Zebra Eltron P310I Thermal Card Printer
I have a Eltron P310 Card Printer here, the ribbon keeps snapping in the middle under the printhead and wrapping around the roller at the bottom. Is there any reason this keeps doing this as its driving me crazy???
Thanks in advance

Could be down to tension on the ribbon roller/spool. Check to see if you have pulled out the end part of the spool (black bit) that should ensure there is back tension on the ribbon.

Check that you are in thermal transfer mode and not in Direct thermal.
The motors are active only if you are in Thermal transfer

SOURCE: I replaced the ribbon in
There is a diagram that shows the correct route to thread the ribbon and media in the upper lid. All zebra ribbons come off the supply hub clockwise (left to right) and the ribbon only goes under one roller prior to the print head.
