Question about GE Washing Machines
My washing machine WSSH300GWW spins like a demon. It would not stay in place when mounted on top of each other so I tried to separate the two and still the thing shakes like a DEMON. I tried it without clothes and it was fine. Only when loaded does it shake like crazy. The warranty is up but the machine has had like zero use since it was in storage by the tenant for 1-2 years. Is it worth getting a GE repairman or should I just get another machine.
Sounds like the rubber dampener straps that connect the tub to the chassis are broken, with the washer OFF open the lid and see of the tub will move more than an inch or so by hand in any direction. not a real hard fix if this is indeed the problem, but it could also be the tabs that hold the straps to the tub itself, if this is the case then it becomes a little more difficult. good luck
