Two Player Game Mortal Kombat SNES

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to start a two-player game in Mortal Kombat on SNES. I haven't played it for years and I forget how to do it. I plug both controllers in before I start the game, but I can't see any option to choose a two-player game. Any help is appreciated.

Hi, Thanks for your quick reply. I couldn't get this to work. I think there may be a problem with the port for the second controller on my SNES. I swapped the controllers and they both work fine in Port 1. There is just no response from the second controller when it is plugged in. Thanks for your help.

When playing Mortal Kombat II second player keeps "popping" into game even though only one controller is hooked up?

Well try cleaning the game pack out with quips and rubbing alchoal it could just be dirty then or the worst case is that the game pack could have internal issues Check for Unlicensed products. Make sure that you're using only licensed products with your Nintendo system. Unlicensed products are not tested for compatibilty and may not work correctly with all games. Try playing the game without the unlicensed accessory.
Insert the Game Pak into the system. The Game Pak label should be facing the front of the machine (or facing up if you are using an original NES).
Make sure the Game Pak firmly clicks down into place.
Remove all accessories to see if the Game Pak works correctly without the accessory. If the game does work correctly once the accessory is removed, then the game pak and the accessory may not be compatible. Check the game pak instruction manual.
Check the instruction manual for the game to see if it requires any special accessories to operate (such as the Super Scope, NES Zapper, SNES Mouse, etc.).
Do not blow into your Game Paks or systems. The moisture in your breath can corrode and contaminate the pin connectors.

SNES Controller 2 Port Not Working

The 2nd Player controller port just might be shot. That or the part of the main board that deals with the 2nd controller. My suggestion is purchasing another controller board (the main board and controller board are separate and easily removable pieces) and switching them out. If the problem persists then the SNES's main board probably has an issue.

My pioneer cd rw/dvd rw drive stoped working

what u might have to do is a system restore, which will restore the system to the date that u installed mortal kombat 4.

if u are using vista, just type system restore in the search bar, then back date the system to the date to the date u installed mortal kombat

if u are using XP, open "Run" on the start menu, type "msconfig" then click " launch system restore" on the general tab, than back date the system to the date u installed mortal kombat.

well.........i hope this works for you.

Super Nintendo console

It's always possible to damage the unit by not pushing the eject button first. If you have other cartridges that work fine, then the loose cartridge is the issue, not the unit. A loose cartridge won't be read as well as a good snug one.
