Try to get it into DFU mode to restore the firmware. To get it into that mode you hold menu and sleep/wake buttton together for 5sec, when it turns off keep holding the menu button, do all of that while the iPhone is connected to the computer. When it enters DFU mode the screen of the iphone will stay black but iTunes will detect the iPhone and you can restore it. After that it will boot again. There is an iphone repair guide website that shows you how to do the replacement yourself and a third party iphone repair company that can do it for you.

My apple ipod is disabled and its showing try again in 21344974 minutes

you need to DFU restore your iPhone. Hope you got a backup, because you're losing the stuff on it. with iPhone plugged in, hold down the sleep wake switch, and the home button for about 10 seconds, until the iPhone turns off. Once the screen goes black, continue holding, count to 8. Release sleep wake switch, continue depressing home button. Wait for iTunes to recognize, and you'll be prompted to restore.

hello,

the upgrade was not compatible with your version that is why it is showing the i tune logo and emergency calls.

try to switch back to your previous version. if it is not giving the access, then you try to take it to the apple iphone service center around you.

take care.

IPhone

Hello Bruce,

Try this first:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake (on top of the iphone) button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. The phone will turn off. Then, push and hold it again, until the phone comes back on.

If that doesn't work, try this:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. This will do a "hard reset" and should bring your iphone back to life!

Please let us know how this works for you.

Best regards,
Bill
