Too much red in the screen

I got an rca p52813bl rear projection tv the red is showing alot in the screen and i was wondering what i can do to get this fixed without spending alot of money im kinda on a tight budget

Ur tv have a convergence problems,it dead.The 2 STK convergence ICS are defective,must be change and it supporting resistors.The shop will fix it for u for $300-350 for parts and labors.

This is caused by convergence. One of the convergence ICs (integrated circuits) is temperature sensitive. The parts will need to be changed. See the tip on convergence on this website.

3D looking pic. on my RCA-P52813BL


The prob.is ur covergence.Go to menu setup look for convergence,see no convergence.U have an open Fuse(FL231)lacated right side of the Flyback Transformer.There are 3 in a roll small brown rectangle looking caps,but they are fuses.The one in the middle is dead.

If you are using the Component Inputs make sure you don't have a bad Blue cable.

That sounds like the screen and focus controls you are adjusting. It sounds like you have a bad HV Splitter inside the TV. #205064 or #204809 Depending on your model number. http://www.matelectronics.com/acatalog/Mat_Electronics_Replacement_Parts___TV_134.html sells them for about 20 bucks.

go to the menu select the screen option 3 and then select option 6 . adjust projection tv. green is for green use it first then adjust the red and blue until the patterns on the tv screeen appear white.
