First option: For that symptoms try restart PC then before booting press F8 to see.(for windows xp professional and home edition. operating system )
safe mode with networking
safe mode with command prompt
enable booth logging
enable VGA mode
last known good configuration (your recent settings that worked) select this option by highlight then press enter key.
if same problem? restart PC again then select safe mode wait for booting.already use that option not yet happened same problem. Second option:You need to reinstall fresh installation of operating system like windows xp,windows vista, windows 7 version etc.
Hope can help you.
First try to boot with last know good setting if this doesn't work boot into safe mode and choose a system restore point and then retry you update again. Always be sure your laptop is plugged in when installing or doing updates, since if the battery dies in the middle of an installation or update your stuck like this.
if this happens when starting to boot to Windows, try last known-good config. When system is restarting, tap F8 a couple of times to get to the Advanced Options menu where Safe Mode is also listed. Select Last Known-Good Configuration if available and press Enter. If this does not work, try selecting Safe Mode. If you can get to Safe Mode, you can try System Restore to a previous restore point available when your system is working properly. If none of the things work, try Windows repair or reinstall. Make sure to try to backup data if you can before doing any reinstall or repair.
hit the R key many times when booting up and will bring you to the recovery tool and try the options it allows you to like (last known good config.), (safe mode) do a virus scan then when you get in, and or a restore from there ok try these and if nothing works then shoot me the error code it's giving you and I go from there ok good luck and have a nice day the fixist
Tap the F8 Key as soon as the Laptop is powered on, keep tapping it till it brings you to Boot Choice Menu Options.. Options such as: Safe Mode, Safe Mode w/ Networking, Last Known Good Config..etc... are listed here..
Press and hold the F12 Key If You Need To Get To Boot Choices.. Such As Boot From CDrom, Boot From LAN, Boot From USB Device..
If you are asking how to re-install Windows XP, you must boot from the cd to do that. Either change your bios settings to boot from the cd first or immediately after the POST screen press F12, then choose boot from cd and when directed, press any key to boot from the cd.
If you're asking why your pc isn't booting there are many reasons it might not boot - virus, driver problems, hardware failure. Need more information if that's your question.
