Question about Panasonic CW-1006FU Air Conditioner

3 Answers

I've got a pana inverter CS-E24FKR, and the timer icon is blinking. I have not set a timer and i can not get the unit to respond. I tried holding the "check" button down for 5 seconds, then holding the middle "up" button till it beeped and a error code came up,as per manual, however there was no "beeping" sound nor a code. any ideas? Same thingh here. I have a CS-E12EKU that every other month the timer light goes on. Faulty board?

Model is a CS E15 FKR wall unit. The timer light just flashes. The air conditioner just wont work, and none of the controls on the remote will turn it on. I tried holding down the reset button, but it made no difference

Hi, I had exactly the same problem.  You need to keep pressing the middle "up" button until you reach the number of the error and then it will beep.
My error is number 15, I have to contact the repairer to see what it means. Hope this helps.

This is a sign of a bad board. They are cheap and easy to replace. They will need to be replaced or you will continue to have this problem for as long as you own the unit

Honeywell HZ-705.....HELP!!!!

Should have oil in it. I don't think you can refill it. If it has leaked out, it's probably no good. Anyway, here are the instructions.

Press the *power button* once to start the heater on high power, continuous run. If left at this setting, the unit will run continuously on high power (1500 watts, 12.5 amps) and will not shut off until the unit is manually turned off.
Press the *power button* again, to change to low power, continuous run, (900 watts, 7.5 amps) and will not shut off until the unit is manually turned off.

Set temperature:

Press the temp/timer button until the temperature icon blinks. Use the up and down arrows to set the desired temperature.
The temperature icon will stop blinking and the current room temperature will reappear after the desired temperature is set.

The heater will turn off and on to achieve the desired temperature.

Set timer: (auto off)

Press the timer/timer button until the timer icon blinks. The hour display will appear. The auto off icon will also appear.
Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the heater operation time between 1 and 10 hours. This function will activate once the timer icon stops blinking. The heater will automatically turn off whn the times runs out.

Set timer: (auto on)

Press the temp/timer button until the timer icon blinks. The hour display will appear. The auto on icon will also appear.
Use the up and down arrow buttons to set the heater start time between 1 and 10 hours. This function will activate once the timer icon stops blinking.
The heater will automatically turn on when time expires.

Hope this helps!

I had the same problem with a Panasonic Inverter mini split model cs-e12eku and i had to turn it off using the main power breaker switch. ( I could never get the darn error code.) I left it off for a couple of minutes and it seems to reset. My uncle is in the ac business and he has heard from other ac techs that the Panasonic ac's are problematic, sounds like it might be true...I suspect that the time, my unit worked perfectly for from 11/06 to June 08 and living in the tropics I used it every day I havent called Panasonic but it sounds like a faulty circuit board.
