EDGE is a network dependent technology. You can use EDGE if you comply with the following:
- your are using 2G (GSM) network
- your phone is EDGE capable
- your network provider offers EDGE
If you have this three, then you can use EDGE. You cannot enable/disable EDGE functionality, except if you change you network settings to 3G (UMTS), then you cannot use EDGE.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Are you using the Edge browser? Blue Symbol one?

If so switch to an another browser, as Edge is still not up to specs on add ons etc.

I am tracking my family and the system asks that I enable third party cookies. I am on Windows 10 and I cannot find out how to enable third party cookies.

As Windows 10 have the latest and newest browser named EDGE so in order to enable or disable cookies follow these steps:
1. Open Edge.
2. Press the three-dot More Actions button on the top right.
3. Select Settings from the menu that shows up.
4. Tap or click View Advanced Settings. You'll need to scroll down to the bottom of the page.
5. Press the dropdown arrow under the Cookies field.
6. Select Block All Cookies or Block Only Third Party Cookies if you want to disable cookies, or Don't Block Cookies if you want to enable them.

Thanks

Can i chnge from edge to gprs

The EDGE and GPRS are data transfer methods used by network operators.EDGE is 3 times faster than GPRS.Usually network operators use one of the two.Actually you are not deciding the method.Either you can enable or disable it.

Hi i require the internet settings to enable me to use my iphone 3g on orange payasyougo can you help please

There's an app available in installer called services that will allow you to turn edge on and off.
You need to look in settings/general/network/edge. There you will find a place to enter the settings.
You need to use:

APN: orangeinternet
Username: user
Password: pass

Then you'll be fine.
Give that a try.

The wireless switch is generally on the front edge or a side edge of your notebook. They also usually have an led that will show status. You may have to enable this through bios if the switch doesn't work.

EDGE on R47A_G_08.D8.8BR

Hello, Normally the EDGE protocoll requires the same settings as any GPRS connection. The swich between EDGE and GPRS is made automatically by the network when your phone detects an EDGE covered area. You will need to ask your network provider for your GPRS settings (I can't give them to you because they varry from provider to provider and requires different servers) and eventually if there is something more required to acces wap or the internet through edge. Like I've said EDGE is based on the same protocoll as GPRS but uses a greather number of data channels symultaneous. However if in your area there are many people using EDGE these data channels will be distributed among each user and the result will be a slow data speed. Also please note that the phone itself can't load the web pages as fast as a computer because it needs to prefetch the pages to the screen size and that takes alot of processing power. Please ask more questions if you need more informations.
