Go to HP.com, click on Drivers Download, enter Deskjet F830 in the model box and click search. You will then be asked to pick your Operating System, most likely Windows XP or Vista. You will then be shown all the available downloads for that printer. Download and install the driver and the printer should work.

In the middle of the page, click on your operating system in the blue font. Then you want to click on the "view and download Canon PIXMA MP600 Easy Photo Print Driver" in blue in the middle of the page. Enter the validation code in the middle/bottom of the page and click on download file. It should start automatically. Hope this helps!
