Key on keyboard is stuck. Can I take that Key off?

HP tx2000, One Key on the keyboard is stuck... Can you take off the Key it self??

Yes you can, use a couple of thin flat screw drivers to pry gently on it and it will come off, look under neath to see why it got stuck then place it again and press gently downwards to lock it back in.

Hp tx2000 bios password


I can get the bypass code from HP all you need to do is type the wrong password in three times and give me the system halted or the system disabled code. It can take about 24 hours to get a code back. Hope this helps.

Keyboard is stuck and need change boot order


You can try connecting an external keyboard. When the external is connected the BIOS may ignore in built-in keyboard, bypassing your keyboard error.

You can also try removing the stuck key by prying it up GENTLY.

The answer to your question is unless you can get a working keyboard connected to your computer there is no way to change the boot order. Without a working keyboard you can't get into the system setup (BIOS), nor can you press the correct key.
