Question about Husqvarna Garden

Brand new husqvarna 445, won't start

From post by someone else: Did everything exactly as directed, tried a few times, including leaving alone for a while, nothing. I have the same problem with my brand new 445: followed all directions, but it won't start. And yes, I do smell gas after trying to start. Also, some smoke is generated after several pulls, but it won't turn over.

Try not giving any throttle when first starting. The newer trimmers are this way many times. (Maybe the newer chainsaws are this way now.)You prime the carburetor, set the choke and pull, but don't throttle until it runs for 10 or 15 seconds.

You seem to have changed everything, are you sure this is not an ignition unit issue? i have to confess the unit is not the best quality, i think the next move is to replace it.

My 445 fills the cyl with fuel every time I try to start it I had change the priming bulb

The problem probably lies inside the carburetor. The needle valve is either dirty or worn, or the float has a pin hole and wont float or perhaps a misalignment on one of the visible components. The valve that opens and shuts the fuel flow (needle Valve) is generally the culprit. This is due to leaving fuel inside the carburetor over Winter. The fuel evaporates and leaves a very sticky varnish that messes everything along the fuel lines. This Winter...empty it!

Husqvarna 223L won't start

I would first take the spark plug out and see if the tip is wet, it could very well be flooded.

second of all I'd try putting fuel directly into the carb (if this helps you'll most likely need a carb kit or maybe even a new carb)

My Husqvarna starts but won't accelerate when you pull the trigger, acts like the brake is on but the handle is in the free position.

It may be running very rich, make sure the air filter is clean, if ok. check the spark arrestor in the muffler outlet ( if fitted ) has not carboned up, if ok, check the exhaust port is not blocked with carbon.
