Hello,
Sorry to disappoint you but this is not a graphing calculator. What you thought was graph, is just the grad angle unit (degree, radian, grad).

My scientific calculator gives me wrong trigonometric values

That is the correct value for the cosine of 60 radians.

If you want the calculator to use some other measure for angles, press the MODE key repeatedly until you get to the "Deg Rad Gra" screen, then press the digit corresponding to your choice (degrees, radians, or grads). See "Configuring the Calculator Setup" in the second column of the first page of the manual: http://www.fixya.com/support/p1400062-casio_fx82ms_scientific_calculator/usermanual-BA0F781-pdf

Casio fx 992s when i try to do simple calculations like 1.33360 - 1.33041.....the answer is 3.19 and other little numbers in the top right. i dont get this or like this. i want a proper 5 decimal...

It sounds like you need a manual for your calculator. You can download a scanned copy here, and it will explain what all the keys are for. For now, here is the way to set the calculator for a five decimal place display:
  1. Press the MODE key three times. A menu offering choices of FIX, SCI or NORM will appear.
  2. Press the 1 key to select FIX mode. The message "0~9?" will appear.
  3. Press the 5 key. This tells the calculator to display five digits after the decimal.
This mode setting will hold until you change it to something else, or when you turn off the calculator.

Spend some time reading the manual and work with the calculator. It's a powerful tool with a lot of capabilities. Thanks for using Fixya!
