Question about Kenwood KDC-X590 CD Player
I work at a pawn shop and took this deck and it is in protect mode and i need to know how to get past this point. thanks Dave my kenwood kdc-x590 is in protection mode can u help me please
A couple things may cause this:
If a speaker wire shorted out (either a voice coil or the wire itself is grounded; touches the vehicles chassis ground)
Solution: disconnect each speaker from the deck and see if it turns back on. 90% of the time thats the problem.
It could be overheating.
