Recently my power supply blew up and the PS2 wouldn't go on anymore, I changed it with another power supply, apparently mine had a 125 V one in it while they told me it was 250V (I live in europe) now I've put a 250V power supply and the PS2 can switch on again, all the browser menu's work etc, but suddenly it wont read a single disk, no games, no DVD's no CD's, nothing, on the browser screen it just sais 'Reading disc...' forever. Please help!

well uhmmmmm maybe its both ps2 and gta:sa i dont own a ps2 slim anymore but it worked with mine old one fine go to a gamestop technitian and ask him about your problem bring you games in and he could test it out
If i was you i'd take a look at the power supply now because the powerboard if it had a serge or somthing it would have safty switched itself if this is the case it should just need to be reset. if its the disk drive fiddle with it try unjaming it any way possible weather it requiers a beating or not because you can pick up a disk drive very cheap and the console them selfes are tuff reliable devises i fixed mine a number of times just by dipping it in metho
I would try cleaning your Playstation games, Check and make sure that the games your trying to play are not cracked in anyway. Also, if you have your system standing vertically lay it down horizontally. Many times after you've closed the disk in it lens to far away from the lens.
