Computer keeps rebooting into safe mode after trying to Restore

I own a Toshiba Satellite A200 laptop with windows vista OS. I had to boot into safe mode to remove an MP3 file from Limewire that was corrupt and now my computer rebbots into safe mode all the time. I have tried to boot in normal mode, i have tried system restore but nothing works. my virus scan no longer works, i can not access the internet for online solutions. Basically I am locked in safe mode and can't seem to fix it. Im trying to do a system restore on my sony viao with Vista Premium. After trying to restore it reboots into Safe Mode and never restores. I have a rogue infection thats why Im having to do the restore. What would be causing this not to restore or is there a way to completely restore it the way it should?

Hold down the number "0"key and continue to hold it down as you turn on the laptop. Keep holding the key and then if the laptop makes a sound let go and hopefully it will go into the internal factory restore for your laptop.

If it doesn't then you'll need to restore your laptop with your recovery disks.

Either way the hard drive needs to be wiped out in order to get rid of the virus since it did irrepairable damage to the operating system.

If you need help with restoring your laptop back to factory defaults, let me know and I'll walk you thru it.

You can use system restore and restore your computer's settings to a previous date. Please choose a date during which you know that your computer worked fine. This will remove any recently made change that had affected windows Vista in your computer

I have a Toshiba Satellite L355-S7811 laptop that will not boot. It keeps going to a blue screen that says fatal error and before I can read it,it restarts. I dont have a recovery cd so I dowloaded 2 from...

See let me talk with you from experience...

The only thing that can be done is system restore to factory default and remember to backup your documents.

This is the only way to resolve the problem you are going through.

Cheers.

HP DV4 displays only a blue screen running vista

Shutdown the computer,disconnect external peripherials.
Turn on the computer and hit F8 key as soon as you restart the computer
You will get the windows advance options menu.
Select the Safe mode option and hit enter.
If the computer boots in safe mode, do a system restore to previous date.
If computer restore then issue is resolved.
If still unable to boot in safe mode.
Ran a harddrive diagnostic. If harddrive test passes. If harddrive test fails replace harddrive.
Boot the system using the windows xp or vista operating system disk. Try to repair the OS then reboot the system and check.
If still unable to boot possible issue with corrupt operating system.
Reinstall Operating system. / Recover System . Good Luck.

Satellite L305-S5907 locks up.

If your computer boots then lockup, try this:
When your computer boots, press F8 to enter boot selection. Then select Safe Mode. Try to uninstall your newly installed software or hardware that might be causing the problem. Then reboot. If it persists, try using "Last Known Good Configuration"

Another option is to reinstall your OS. Last bad option though. Good luck
