Question about Palm Treo 680 Smartphone
When i bought the phone, i inserted my sim and my battery and turned on the phone function with no problems. about an hour later, the phone froze and i went to soft reset ( take battery out and put it back in) the phone function did not work anymore. any one with a solution to this?
I had the same problem. It turns out to be a bad or malfunctioning sim card. Get the card changed by your provider (you can still keep your phone number.

Insert the SIM card into your phone. Once your battery is removed, insert the SIM card into your phone. Look at the image on the phone to see how to insert the SIM card correctly. Make sure it is pushed all the way into place.
Replace the battery and turn on the phone. Replace the battery back into its compartment and replace the back cover. Turn on your Nokia 2610 phone, and it should boot up. The name of your wireless provider will appear when your phone is turned on.
Allow time for your phone to read the SIM card. Once your phone is booted up, it will say initializing. This means that it is reading your SIM card information. Once your SIM card is read, your phone will go to the home screen. Your SIM card is now activated, and you should be able to access all of your information.
